We get the idea.

The CAG Team

While our tools and tactics continue to change, our principles for producing great work remain the same:

Our designers, developers, copywriters, and strategists work every day to ensure each project, large or small, is a success.

We collaborate – among ourselves, our clients, and our strategic partners – to deliver a full range of marketing services adaptable to each client’s goals and deadlines.

We deliver big-agency quality without sacrificing our commitment to one-on-one client relationships.

CAG LEADERSHIP

Fred Lusignan

President

Fred’s involvement in Rhode Island advertising began in the shipping department of Tri-Color, one of New England’s largest four-color film separation companies, where his keen eye for color propelled him to the position of production manager. He then spent five years as production manager with a leading B2B agency, before partnering with Chuck to create Communication Arts Group. He now heads up all business functions for the firm, in addition to servicing many of its accounts.

Fred is also an inventor! California-based educational toy manufacturer Educational Insights currently markets Fred’s brainchild, Multiplication Slam, a fun and challenging electronic board game designed to teach kids multiplication and division.

Outside the office, Fred travels the country visiting friends and family, fights back the woods of Foster, RI, and enjoys time with his family and his dog.

Chuck Lusignan

VP & Creative Director

Chuck’s been at this for a while–and can amuse staff by recounting the days of marker comps, typewriters, mechanical boards, and face-to-face meetings. But as technology has rendered a lot of these tactile practices obsolete, he’s keeping up–but his commitment to showing clients solutions they haven’t seen before remains intact.

He likes to tell clients “…if you’re not a little bit nervous about what we’re showing you, we haven’t done our job.”

Before founding CA Group in 1985, he was Creative Director at a mid-size advertising agency in Providence, RI working on a wide range of business-to-business and consumer accounts. Over the course of his career he’s received several local, regional and national awards.

He holds a degree in Advertising Design and Illustration from the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale.

He’s a life-long Rhode Islander and relaxes with family time, painting, and golf.

Erin Lailer

VP & Project Manager

As the lead point of contact for a range of clients, Erin builds relationships that enable the CA Group team understand and respond to the unique complexities of each of their needs. Her extensive background in account services allow her to help clients find marketing solutions tailored to their goals.

Erin’s favorite part of the job is establishing connections with clients, and exploring new ways to help them overcome their marketing challenges.

When she’s not at work Erin loves to spend time with her family, as well as with her dog Sterling, who doubles as Head of Security for the CA Group office.

Rob Sadler

Senior Designer

Rob enjoys solving a fundamental marketing puzzle: what’s the most effective way to visually communicate a message? The solution changes with each project based on the client’s goals, and Rob takes pride in having designed just about every kind of deliverable there is. The diversity of his work keeps his job fresh, and provides the satisfaction of an ever-expanding skillset.

Like many designers, Rob was the “artistic” kid in class, and followed his passion into adulthood. He earned a degree in Graphic Design from UMass Dartmouth in 2010, joined CA Group six months later, and has been a part of the team ever since.

Rob is an avid reader, and runs his own online shop called Literature Lodge, which sells handmade products based on classic literature. He loves to learn, gobbling up books, podcasts, and video lectures on his latest topics of interest.
